🕳 Caves
Franconian Switzerland is famous for its stalactite caves. Three of these have been developed as tourist caves and are open to the public: the Teufelshöhle, the Sophienhöhle and the Binghöhle. However, there are many more freely accessible caves, such as the Rosenmüllerhöhle in Muggendorf.
Other caves
- Riesenburg – Cave Ruins / Rock Gate
- Ludwigshöhle – not far from Sophienhöhle, on the opposite side of the river
- Oswald Cave near Muggendorf
Details of the visitor caves can be found on the subpages.
